Course Overview
TOPLearn how product owners and product managers should work together to achieve the best possible customer and business outcomes. The SAFe POPM course will teach you how to adopt a customer-centric approach to building products, using the Scaled Agile Framework to deliver more value, faster. Topics covered in this course include the daily role of POs and PMs; collaborating with engineering teams and business stakeholders; how to write epics, features, and stories; and how to design, prioritize, build, test, and deliver products with increased productivity and higher quality.
Participants will receive an overview of the Scaled Agile Framework and the Lean-Agile mindset, as well as a deep understanding of the specific activities, tools, and mechanics involved in delivering value to the enterprise.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be well-equipped to pass the SAFe PO/PM certification exam and will have the skills to write Epics, Capabilities, Features, and User Stories in the context of SAFe.
Additionally, participants will have a solid foundation for effectively managing backlogs and programs in a Lean-Agile enterprise.
Real-World Exercises: In this course, learners will apply the concepts taught in class by breaking out into small groups or teams and completing hands-on, scenario-based exercises related to each module.
