Course Overview
TOPLean Six Sigma Green Belt is training for process improvement leaders and provides a working knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma roadmap to lead projects focused on the analytical methods typically used for process optimization. The focus of the projects, at this level of proficiency, is typically on stabilizing the process - getting rid of the firefighting mentality and having consistent performance. Note that this may not be optimal performance, but significantly reduced volatility.
A project Certification is required to become a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and this project is a real process improvement that the candidates choose to implement for their current employer.
Note: The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Live Instructor course is scheduled as an eight-day course taking place from Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm Eastern Time on two separate weeks. The available class dates show the first and last day of the course. For example, a class date of January 14, 2025 & February 11, 2025 means that the first week of class is Tuesday January 14 thru Friday, January 17; and the second week of class is Tuesday, February 11 thru Friday, February 14.
Note: The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt On-Demand course takes about 40 hours of training with 1-year access to complete it at your own pace. This is a self-paced format with 24/7 access, fully online, and you need an internet connection. You can register and start training whenever you want. There is no live engagement with the instructor during the training portion, but you have an email where you can ask questions for follow-up if necessary. Remote mentoring time for the project certification is included.
