Home computers are devices that didn't make the cross over from home to business application. Current home computers like WebTV are examples of this. WebTV allows people to access the internet from home, but doesn't run any other applications or games.
Since the beginning of the personal computer industry, many vendors believed there was a market for less expensive computers in the home. These computers typically sold for 1/3 the price of business computers, but were usually not used for much other than playing games and learning to program.
