Systems Engineer

Salary up to $70s

Responsibilities include:

*Providing end-user phone and remote support
*Web site and hosted e-mail setup and maintenance
*Configuring, installing, maintaining and supporting hosted Windows and Linux servers
*Troubleshooting multi-platform TCP/IP based LAN/WAN environments

Ideal candidates will possess:

*High level of Microsoft AD expertise including Windows 2008 and Exchange 2007
*Knowledge of communications protocols and network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers)
*Experience with one or more of the following: VMWare ESX, Linux server administration, BIND DNS, Cisco ASA configuration, Radware configuration, Symantec Backup Exec
*Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel Our ISP Operations Group provides a single point of contact for clients' internet needs including security, application hosting and internet access.

This role requires a self-motivated, customer oriented engineer that is eager to learn. This position is a salaried full-time, non-contract position.

Learning Center
Computer Applications Instructor - Contract or Part-Time

The ideal candidate has provided classroom instruction to business professionals on a variety of applications and operating systems. Stand-up teaching experience and knowledge of PC applications are required.

Currently we are seeking applicants with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, SharePoint and Crystal Reports. Instructors teach in carefully prepared classrooms in our Hunt Valley and Columbia classrooms and at local client sites.

Candidates must be available to instruct during business hours Monday through Friday.

Presentation Systems
Audio Visual Service Technician

Salary up to $70s

System Source, a leading A/V integrator, IT consulting and integration firm, has been serving the Baltimore-Washington area since 1981. We are the oldest PC systems integrator in Baltimore with 85 employees. Our senior managers average of 16.5 years of tenure.

System Source seeks an experienced audio visual systems technician for our AV systems integration department. Technician responsibilities include AV systems troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and returning systems to operational status. An ability to meet deadlines and strong organizational skills are necessary. Service call dispatch, scheduling and execution will also be included in this job.

You will have the resources to work on projects with above average finish and customer satisfaction. This position is structured so you can deliver on your customer commitments.

Experience with Crestron , AMX, Epson, Polycom, Lifesize, Extron, and others is preferred. Strong AV systems troubleshooting skills and experience are needed.

We create audio visual for classrooms, conference rooms, network/security operating centers, video conference facilities and digital signage installations.

Candidates with experience reading wiring diagrams or troubleshooting control systems are especially attractive.

We are authorized for Crestron, Extron, Lifesize, Polycom, Epson, Samsung, NEC , BiAmp, Shure, and AMX. Our team is well positioned for the convergence of IT and A/V and the growth in digital signage.

Technical Services
Senior Systems Engineer/Enterprise Consultant

Salary to $100k

Position has broad responsibilities including listening to customer needs, proposal writing, preparing and delivering presentations at marketing events and project delivery.

Candidates must have the resources to deliver projects with outstanding customer satisfaction.

These skills and certifications are required:
* Configure, install, maintain, support, and troubleshoot multi-platform, multi-protocol LAN/WAN environments.
* Windows Server expertise including installation and troubleshooting experience
* Experience with network infrastructure hardware (firewalls, switches, routers)
* MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

These skills/certifications are helpful:
* CCEA - Certified Citrix Enterprise Administrator
* CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate
* VMWare ESX
